Student Housing Telephone Activation
Room and/or apartment telephone service is not provided by UC Irvine's Student Housing. We maintain and provide telephone wiring and outlets within bedrooms and some living room areas (where applicable), however, service and activation are handled by AT&T Residential and is the responsibility of the student desiring phone service.If you need to activate telephone service within Arroyo Vista, Campus Village, Mesa Court, Middle Earth, Palo Verde or Verano Place housing, please contact AT&T at 877-7CAMPUS (877-722-6787). Note that AT&T's business hours are Monday-Friday, 8 am - 6 pm; and Saturday, 8:30 am - 5 pm.
How Do I Tell AT&T Which Port to Activate?
- Arroyo Vista Residents: You will need your physical building address and room number.
- Campus Village Residents: Please see the diagram below. Numbered outlets provide up to two individual phone lines. Un-numbered outlets provide the ability to have a single phone line throughout the apartment.
- Mesa Court and Middle Earth Residents: You will need your physical building address, room number, and the "letter" or "Number" found on the port you wish to activate.
- Palo Verde and Verano Place: Each apartment has the ability to provide an individual phone line to each room or a phone line for the full apartment. Service to rewiring jacks for individual or full apartment service is provided by AT&T Residential.
