Green Room

Green Campus Program and Student Housing are partners in “The Green Room,” a tour room in the Middle Earth housing community that is furnished with environmentally-friendly products. Bed sheets and other linens are made of organic cotton, hemp or recycled cloth. Soap and laundry detergent are biodegradable and non-toxic. Mechanical devices are Energy Star certified. Purchase information is attached to each item, making it easy for visitors to incorporate energy-saving practices into their own residences.
