
- Get involved in for-credit recycling & energy conservation internships.

- Join student organizations that work to educate students about saving energy and the environment. One such organization is Green Campus, who put together the Web site info.
- Take advantage of the many classes offered by various departments. Examples include: energy, habitat restoration, water quality, sustainability, environmental management.
- Support more housing programming on environmental issues. Support on-campus student life programming through the Student Center to keep students on campus rather than driving to other areas.
- Volunteer for service projects like tree planting
- Support possible student initiated fee-increases to help leverage green measures that are not finance-able without a subsidy.
- Green living requires resourcefulness. Help identify and improve upon any inefficiencies of energy, water, food, or waste management that warrant change.
- Visit the Campus GREEN ROOM, housed in Middle Earth. The room has displays on products students can use to live “greener.” Email Green Campus to organize a tour!
- Be an informed consumer and seek out products that minimize waste and are recycled.
