Summer Sublet
Summer Sublets begin Sunday, June 22, 2008 and end on Friday, September 12, 2008. Campus Village Housing does not guarantee that you will find a sub-tenant or a place to live in the summer, nevertheless, this system is designed to help you meet your summer housing goals.
The Summer Sublet system provides listings of:
- spaces that will be available for the summer, AND
- people who are interested in sub-leasing in Campus Village for the summer.
Looking For Summer Housing In Campus Village?
- Complete the Online Sublet Information Session And Test.
This is to ensure that all sublet participants are familiar with Campus Village's sublet program and policies. - If you still have any question, attend the Summer Sublet Information Session.
You can attend the information session to ask any follow-up questions you might have. You are not required to attend these sessions in order to sublet, but they may be helpful. - Look for a sublet by viewing the spaces available listings or post your information in the Summer Sublet system.
How To Sublet Your Apartment

Complete the Online Sublet Information Session And Test

Attend the information session to ask any follow-up questions you might have. You are not required to attend these sessions in order to sublet, but they may be helpful. - Find a sublease by viewing the housing wanted listings or post your information in the Summer Sublet system
- Print and Fill out the Application for Approval to Sublet form (PDF) and the Key Authorization form (PDF).
- Return the completed applications to the Campus Village housing office.
Summer Sublet Information Sessions
Campus Village will host two Summer Sublet Information Sessions, with follow-up questions and answers. Sessions will be held on the following dates and location:
- Thursday, May 1, 2008 @ 6PM
- Tuesday, May 6, 2008 @ 7PM
- Wednesday, May 14, 2008 @ 5PM
All sessions will take place in the Atlantis Lounge in the CV Community Center. You are not required to attend these sessions in order to sublet, but they may be helpful. Attending an information session does not substitute for taking the online Session and Test.
How Much Does It Cost?
Facilities And Benefits:
- Two-bedroom, one-bath apartment with two residents in each bedroom
- Furnished and unfurnished units; each includes a refrigerator, microwave, gas stove, as well as carpeting and window coverings throughout. All furnished apartments include basic living room furniture, a dinette set, bed, desk, chair and dresser for each resident.
- All utility costs are included in the summer rates, except for phone service which the residents establish for themselves.
- Community Center offers a fitness room, computer lab, meeting/study/program rooms, big screen TV, pool tables, ping-pong tables, air hockey table, and convenience store.
- Conveniently located next to the UCI Science Library and within walking distance of classrooms, research labs, the Student Center and campus cafes.
- All rooms and apartments have internet connection capabilities, and the option of 4 phone lines per apartment.
