Getting Married or Entering into a Domestic Partnership?
If you are planning on getting married or entering into a domestic partnership, contact Patsy Nydam, Assignments Coordinator, at (949) 824-8918. There is a waiting system for students who transfer from single to family housing. The process is as follows:- Student contacts Patsy Nydam to be added to waitlist for family apartment.
- The Palo Verde Assignments Coordinator assigns 10 families on the external waitlist before offering an apartment to a Verano resident.
- Residents must have lived in Palo Verde Housing at least six (6) months before any eligible relocation request will be accepted.
- Relocations will not be accommodated during the summer (June 1 - September 30)

- The resident will be responsible for fulfilling all contractual obligations associated with terminating the contract in the first apartment and those associated with assuming possession of the second apartment.
- Approval from the Student Accounts Counselor is required.
