Eligible students who are not housed through the graduate housing guarantee or who miss the application deadline can apply for the housing wait-list. Housing offers will be made as space becomes available. Before you apply:

Housing Waitlist: Verano Place & Palo Verde
Housing assignments are made from the wait-list as spaces become available. Applicants in Category 1 are assigned housing before applicants in Category 2 (see category descriptions below). Within each category, assignments are made according to application date.
The time between application and placement varies and depends upon a number of factors (i.e., number of residents vacating, number of applicants, assignment category, demand for specific apartment types, and desired move-in quarter requested).
Category 1:
- Doctoral students, Masters of Fine Arts students and medical students (excluding medical residents and interns).
- All students with children (under 18 years of age) who live with them.
Category 2:
- Terminal Masters students (except MFA)
- Credential program students
- Undergraduates who are married or in a domestic partnership without children.
- Undergraduates 25 years of age or older without children.
