Personalized Listings
The Personalized Listing Service offered by Housing Outreach Services provides students with the opportunity to receive a print out of the off-campus housing listings which fit their specified housing criteria. The listings are either mailed or faxed to the student. The fee for this service is $15.
The best time to begin your housing search is approximately 5 to 7 weeks before your anticipated move date, so we suggest you time your request accordingly.
Listing Available:
Roommates Wanted:Current renters who have a space/room available in their apartment, house, or condo. Some listings advertise sharing rooms and/or bathrooms, while some offer single rooms. average rent:

Houses, Apartments, and Condos:Completely vacant units (some furnished listings can be found). ** Please note: Generally, there are few listings in this category. Rents can vary depending on location and size. average rent:

Room in Private Home:Room available in a private residence, e.g. local family. These listings generally offer a single room. average rent:

Subleases:Apartments or homes with a current lease, which cannot be filled by current lessee. May be with or without roommates. average rent:

Temporary Housing:Individuals in apartments, condos, or homes willing to provide temporary housing for one day to six months. average rent:

Roommates Available:Students who are currently looking for a place to live. average rent:

Advertise Yourself:
In addition to utilizing the personlized listing service, we recommend that you advertise yourself as a "Roommate Available" by completing a roommate available listing card. To list yourself as roommate available, please call us at (949) 824-7247 or e-mail us at housing@uci.edu and we will send you a Roommate Available Listing Card. This listing will be made available to UCI students, faculty, staff and alumni, as well as to students from other colleges and universities who are looking for a roommate. Together, these two services will increase your chances of finding housing quickly.
Request a Set Of Personalized Listings:

- Complete the Personalized Listing Request Form.
- Return the completed form, along with the $15 service fee*, a photocopy of your letter of acceptance or a photocopy of your student ID, and a photocopy of your driver's license to our office:

* Make checks payable to UC-Regents. Must be drawn off U.S. bank, or a bank with a sister bank in the U.S. - We strongly suggest including a fax number on your form so we can fax the listings that match your needs. Listings change daily. The sooner you receive your personalized listing, the more current it will be.
Your listing request will be processed as soon as it is received. There is an additional $15 service charge each time you request a personalized listing.
We advise you to respond immediately to the listings. Changes to advertisements and cancellations due to occupancy occur daily. We are therefore unable to guarantee the current availability of the listings.
