Community Council General Meeting
April 14, 2004

+ Guest Speaker

* Zanita came and spoke about studying abroad

+ Jimmy’s Speech

*Lisa is no longer on exec board but will still be around to help out. Services committee still exists and will be co-facilitated by Jimmy, Priyanka, and Tammy.
*Miro is the new RA of Crickhollow and will be a little less involved, but is still the Newsletter Editor.
* Priyanka will be receiving info from IR and ID but will not act as a full liaison.
* Although she wasn’t temporary Tammy is still on staff.

+ Issues

* Jimmy- The Middle Mesa Mixer is this Friday from 8pm till midnight in the Social Science Plaza. We also need people to help volunteer and are sending around a sign up sheet
* Tammy- Middle-Mesa Dance is THIS FRIDAY from 8pm to midnight in Social Science Plaza. Pass around the sign-up sheet (I will give it to you before the meeting). Tammy- POL Debate on Sunday, April 25 in Bucklebury. I’m not sure what the topic is, nor do I have the time for the event. You might want to ask Mai Lien if you don’t know yourself.
* Priyanka- A-TEAM is showing the Godfather in Bucklebury at 7 on Thurs. April 22 Priyanka- Last day to get T-shirts is TODAY. Talk to Priyanka to buy one. Only $9 for delegates!
* Laurie- State Fair will consist of Swap Meet, Heifer Project, and Petting Zoo.
* Miro- Banquet is Week 8. Get a show of hands and ask for ideas for possible places to eat
* Priyanka- CC Elections NEXT MEETING. We have at least one person who has preference each position but, if you want to run for multiple positions, just tell Priyanka or Laura before the ballot is made. (About 2-3 days before the Election would be good). Also everyone is welcome, although you only have 2 ballots everyone in the hall can discuss who they want to put on the two ballots

=Blood Drive is on Tuesday April 20th from noon- 8pm, in Bucklebury
=The Beach clean-u will be on April 25th

= Razzle Dazzle! Make jewelery and buttons for free this Sunday, April 18th at 7pm
=There will be an Art Expo coming on April May 16th. Spread the word and look for more information
