Community Council General Meeting
March 3rd, 2004

+ Ice Breaker

* Jacklin led the delegates in hula dancing

+ Issues

* Harvin-CIA is having a shuttle for 10 dollars to the Santa Barbara game. It will leave at 3:30 and come back at 11:30pm
* Laurie- Health and Wellness is having a Coffee Program on Monday 03/08/04 in Bucklebury at 7pm. Professor Topik will be coming and the first 50 people to come will get a coffee cup to paint
* Lisa- There will be a St. Patrick’s Day dinner for the Identity Cluster. It will be on 03/17/04 at 6pm in Bucklebury. Come dressed in green and we will also be decorating cupcakes.
* Jimmy- the Career Cluster will be having Don’t Hate, Conflict Mediate cluster on Wednesday at 03/04/04 at 7pm in Bucklebury. Learn how to deal with the different conflicts in your life including roommate, teacher, and work related conflicts
* Miro- Interpersonal Relations will be having a Get a Life Program (03/03/04) at 8:30 in Bucklebury, it focuses on diversity and how life would be with a different life.
* Tammy- Hunger Day is March 12. Give up your meals for the day at the money will be going to the SOS. We will also be having a banquet where you can learn more about the homeless and hunger issues in Orange County
* Priyanka- The t-shirt design will be in color and the design will be on the back and the front. It will be black and somewhere from 7-10 dollars depending on how many shirts we buy. If you are interested fill out the sheet
* Priyanka- This years CC PAIR judge is Melissa Franklin, if you want to volunteer than sign up the sign in sheet
* Priyanka- We are looking for ideas for the Middle Mesa Mixer. Ideas we got include Lord of the Reaings en epsnanol, under the sea, treasure island, and costume * Miro- CC Retreat Post-Mortem


= Try to mix up the segregated groups
= We got tired it was a long day
= Need nap time
= Do it at the beginning of the year
= Have 3 retreats
= Great retreat


* Laurie and Tammy- Start thinking about Carpe Diem. We want you to think of a program that the whole CC can do together during State Fair. State Fair is a big Fair we have that has w lots of things including last year’s petting zoo and mechanical bull. The tentative date is May 24th

= Jimmy presented to DC Whitehall for his work on the t-shirt design

* Allie- We will be showing Snatch for the Friday Night Picture Show this Friday at 9pm

= Great job to Megan on her work on the Oscar Party
= Lack of Talent is this Sunday at 7pm Sign-up in the housing office
= There will be an Oscar Party on Sunday the 29th in the BSC at 6:30. It will be lots of fun!
