Emerging Scholars

Emerging Scholars is an academic success program for first year students, providing assistance and support during the transition to college and adjustment to the rigors of college level course work. The program will provide helpful study strategies, a comfortable and quiet location to study, access to stress management and time management workshops, and opportunities to learn more about your unique strengths and identity.

The Emerging Scholars group meets weekly.

Come to the first meeting of the year on Monday, October 10, 2011 (week 3).
Look out for more information in the Middle Earth weekly emails and events flyers.

Peer Academic Advising

Peer Academic Advising is sponsored by the Division of Undergraduate Education and is offered in Middle Earth twice a quarter in Arkenstone and Tolkien Room in Pippin Commons. Trained upper-division students are available to assist first-year students as they plan their program of study to fit their college/career goals. Peer Academic Advisors can also provide information about various majors and minors and about the full range of academic resources available on campus.
