Study Space The Mesa Court Recreation Center has group study rooms which may be reserved through the facility attendant. Additional study space is available in the Mesa Court Community Center which offers wireless Internet access and a cyber lounge with a laser jet printer, scanner, copy machine and computers. The Mesa Court Activity Center also houses a Resident Lounge with additional computers and study space. During Finals week, extra study space is available for use by Mesa Court residents. Learning Skills Workshops Mesa Court hosts academic workshops conducted by the Learning and Academic Resource Center (LARC) staff. Workshop sessions are held 4-5 times per quarter, and topics include Memory Techniques, Note Taking Skills, Time Management, and Exam Preparation. LARC Workshops are not being held in Mesa Court Housing during this Spring Quarter. |

Peer Academic Advising Peer Academic Advising is sponsored by Department of Undergraduate Education and is offered in Mesa Court during the 8th week of each quarter. Trained upper level students will be available to assist first year students as they plan their program of study to fit their college/career goals. Peer Academic Advisors can also provide information about various majors and minors and about the full range of academic resources available on campus. Academic Advising will be held during 7th week. During Spring Quarter it will be held at the following times/locations:

Peer Tutorials The service is staffed by a team of seven Peer Tutors who have received over 22 hours of training

Faculty Programming Meeting faculty members outside of the classroom is a great way to become inspired about your education and gain confidence when approaching your professors. Students living in Mesa Court will have a variety of opportunities to interact with UCI faculty outside the classroom and lecture hall, right here in your community. Classes Mesa Court offers unique opportunities to enroll in 'for credit' classes held in residential classrooms and hall living rooms. Humanities Core and University Studies discussion sections, human development classes taught in some of our theme communities, and Freshman Seminars taught by UCI Faculty are all offered in Mesa Court.
