GRADUATE AND FAMILY HOUSING 2012-13 LEASE RENEWAL PROCESS

NEW HOUSING FOR 2012-13

Learn about Campus Village and Verano Place (unit 7), two new housing options available in graduate and family housing.

If you are already a resident of Graduate and Family Housing, look for information on the housing community Web pages for Palo Verde or Verano Place.

Length of stay limits for current residents of Graduate and Family Housing are dependent on your move-in date. Click here for more information on the Length of Stay Policy.


Undergraduates over 25 years of age, married, or with children

Students in these groups may apply for housing in Verano Place and Palo Verde.

Students who are over 25 years of age, single or married/domestic partners without children may also apply to live in Vista del Campo, Vista del Campo Norte and Camino del Sol. Please call the leasing office of those communities for more information.


Housing Guarantee for Veterans, Reservists (including National Guard) and Active Duty Service Members.*

Eligible service members, reservists, and veterans are guaranteed an offer of on-campus housing for four years or Normal Time To Degree (whichever is greater). The housing guarantee applies to both eligible students who are single and those with families. The housing guarantee will remain in place if a degree program is interrupted by a deployment. Service members should register with UCI Veteran’s Services, http://www.veteran.uci.edu in order to learn more about available campus resources. For more information, contact Student Housing at housing@uci.edu or by calling (949) 824-6811.  *This policy does not apply to students enrolled in ROTC.

A VALID UCI email address is required from each housing applicant.

SPAM filtering note: Emails from the online application systems will be sent from do_not_reply@housing.hsg.uci.edu. Notification of contract offers are sent from the email address of the person making the offer. You are encouraged to accept all emails from the uci.edu domain.

Your UCI email address is viewed as an official method of communicating housing information. You are responsible for either having your UCI email forwarded or checking your UCI email account, and for keeping sufficient disk space available in your campus inbox in order to receive housing email notification. If your UCI email inbox is full, email notifications cannot get through and will bounce back to Student Housing. For more information, visit the campus links below:
