The Arroyo Vista Housing Office and Community Center are located at the entrance of the Arroyo Vista community on the corner of California and Arroyo Drive. Students may come here to fill out work orders, ask questions about activities in the community, meet with administrators, look for jobs and pick-up their mail. The office is open Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Recreation Room
The Rec Room is located in the Arroyo Vista Community Center adjacent to the Arroyo Vista Housing office. The Rec. room contains a computer lab, pool table, foos ball table, ping pong table, television, and a soda vending machine. Programs and events can be held here with reservations. Reservation forms are available at the Arroyo Vista Housing Office. Tables, folding chairs, and barbecues are available at the Arroyo Vista Housing Office. The Rec Room and lab are open until 11 p.m., 7 nights a week.
Conference Room
A meeting room is available on the second floor of the Arroyo Vista Community Center. Residents may reserve this room during normal business hours, depending on availability. Reservations can be made at the Arroyo Vista Housing Office.
Laundry Machines
Each building is equipped with one washer and dryer. The washers and dryers will be card operated. Come to the Arroyo Vista Recreation room to purchase or add value to a laundry card.
Kitchen
Each house has a fully equipped kitchen, including refrigerator, stove, oven, sinks, microwave, pantry, cupboard space and a toaster. Arroyo Vista residents can also rent refrigerators or bring their own from home. Refrigerators may not be over 4.0 cubic feet. Arroyo Vista reserves the right to remove any unauthorized, problematic or dangerous electrical appliances.
Maintenance
Maintenance of the living units is always a priority concern. If you have any maintenance issues come to the Arroyo Vista Housing Office and complete a work order. It is the responsibility of any resident who notices needed maintenance or repair work to complete a work order. Priority is given to work orders dealing with safety and security, but all concerns will be attended to as quickly as possible.
