Housing Waitlist
for Verano Place, Palo Verde & Campus Village (year-round)
Applicants in Category 1 are assigned housing before applicants in Category 2. Within each category, assignments are made according to application date.
The time between application and placement varies and depends upon a number of factors (i.e., number of residents vacating, number of applicants, assignment category, demand for specific apartment types, and desired move-in quarter requested).
Category 1:
- Doctoral students, Masters of Fine Arts, law students, and medical students (excluding medical residents and interns).
- All students with children (under 18 years of age) who live with them.
Category 2:
- Terminal Masters students (except MFA)
- Credential program students
- Undergraduates who are married or in a domestic partnership without children.
- Undergraduates 25 years of age or older without children.
Please note: The exact timing of the housing assignment will depend on apartment availability and may not match up exactly with the move-in preferences indicated, i.e., students may be asked to accept a space/unit prior to their preferred move-in date. If students accept a housing offer for a specific apartment, rent charges will begin on the date that space becomes available.
